The fruits of this genus are an important source of human food and play several roles in human culture. We've enjoyed working on this for over a year and hope you enjoy reading it. There are many people without whom we could not have gotten this article this far; too many of them to list here."! - My small share: I took the Madrid pic. - What an impressive life she had, and to keep going for so long after such experiences ... About the Cucurbita, I'll work on it over the next couple of weeks to see what I can do to polish.
