History
[edit]@Awmcphee: excellent work on the large volume of Alberta community articles as of late. I have expanded this article to keep it from being restored to a redirect again. As it is Alberta's 45th (most recent} First Nation, there are going to be a lot online secondary sources to support it. When you have a moment, there is a lot of great additional info from this AMMSA article to add to this, especially with respect to history, from being missed in the early 1900s to becoming "the largest claim settlement in Alberta and one of the largest in Canada." - Thank you! Really appreciate the opportunity to collaborate. I spent some time last week wrestling with the little-used Template:Infobox First Nation so that it would be suitable for this article, and have expounded some more on the body text.
- Aside: before writing this article, I never thought about how to best explain the concept of an oilfield camp to an audience unfamiliar with the subject. Is "remote camp" the right neutral, formal name of the topic? Maybe one day there will need to be an article about it. Awmcphee (talk) 20:57, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
