Defining Pear Tree
[edit]I've deleted some information this page regarding Normanton Road, and also the area beyond the ring road (leisure park, old barracks, Oast House etc.), all good stuff but to my mind none of these areas could be classed as Pear Tree. When I get round to expanding Normanton, Derby City, as I plan to, I'll incorporate the information there. Jellyman 16:49, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
Once again I've removed some information from the "landmarks" section that in my opinion relates more properly to Normanton than Pear Tree and is already in part covered on the relevant page. In any case there were a number of inaccuracies included, eg. it's the Normanton Hotel, not Normanton Arms; and the building on Stanhope St is not a mosque, it's a Gurdwara (Sikh temple). I've already mentioned it on the Normanton page anyway. Oh, and this question of what is and isn't Pear Tree, the opinion isn't just mine, but also that of respected local historian Maxwell Craven - please see the map in his book Derby: Street by Street. --Jellyman 19:50, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
"a name for a condition where a male has unusually heavy testicles"?
[edit]First is there a source for this, and second does it belong in this article anyway?
It appears to me as if someone has vandalized the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.202.128.149 (talk) 00:09, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
That aspect of the article has been removed as I believe it was vandalism, and was not sourced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Saijm (talk • contribs) 01:02, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
