[edit]Please help with this page... it needs either a better translation or some major cleanup. I don't really know what to do. If there is a native speaker of French, that would really help us out. --Lord Voldemort 20:21, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
- I did some changes/addtions to the Charter and Contract of the Pays chart and I expanded the list.--DominicC13 18:24, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
- "...pagus, which designated the territory controlled by a medieval count." Or does this confuse pays with comté? --Wetman 11:50, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
note...
[edit]This meaning of "pays" is recent and administrative. These "pays" are sometimes new creations and, when they cover existing traditionals ones, they often don't have the same limits (ex. "pays de Bray" <> "pays de Bray" defined by amenagement laws). Be careful cause it could be rapidly confusing. It will be better, perhaps, to notice that from the title. 195.146.239.21 00:04, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Natural region or Pays?
[edit]Both articles refer to the same set of regions, should they be merged or should one be deleted? (Check out Draft:List of natural regions of France). Excellenc1 (talk) 11:33, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
