Proposed merge with Paul Gauguin Cruises
[edit]The company seems unlikely to be notable by our standards. It has one ship, this one. There's not enough content to require or justify two pages. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:18, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose It's a large ship and at some point it will probably be sold to a new owner. It deserves it's own article Lyndaship (talk) 16:37, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose per Lyndaship. Merging a ship into a cruise line, or vice-versa, seems problematic. If the ship is notable, then surely the company operating it is too. I'm not sure how a cuise ship can constantly attract hundreds of passengers year-round without coverage in independent sources. If their marketing people didn't keep them in the public eye to some degree, they would likely go out of business. In any event, it wasn't hard to find the helpful page on their website to guide us to independent sources. Travel + Leisure just ranked them the #1 Midsize-Ship Ocean Cruise Line on July 10. – wbm1058 (talk) 15:48, 30 July 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose per Lyndaship. Merging a ship into a cruise line, or vice-versa, is like merging apples and oranges. Not the same things !!! User:Abune (talk) 15:40, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- Closing proposal, given the consistent opposition with policy arguments. Klbrain (talk) 15:52, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
