Notability?

[edit]

I added a couple of external links, which I think are sufficient to establish notability. In my opinion, the warning should be removed.

Neuroscientist?

[edit]

I added her to the neuroscientists category at Commons, but noticed she wasn't included here. Richard001 (talk) 03:02, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

She's not a neuroscientist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.131.85.208 (talk) 02:32, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Major Revision

[edit]

Hi all editors. I'm working on a thorough revision of this article that will add new sections for biography, philosophy, and Awards and Honors, and perhaps more if I come up with it. I'd be happy for help! My only request is that we collaborate on it, as I'm putting this together in my sandbox at the moment. --Grapplequip (formerly LAR) (talk) 20:08, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alright. At least everything is sourced now. I've removed the unsourced tags.--Grapplequip (formerly LAR) (talk) 21:09, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm constructing this major revision, by the way, in my sandbox, in case anyone wants to have a look themselves. I'm also adding a section for criticism, in addition to those listed above.--Grapplequip (formerly LAR) (talk) 08:46, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism

[edit]

Hi all, in light of my ongoing expansion of this article, it's important to keep it NPOV, and I realize that as it stands now it may look a bit like a promotional piece for Churchland. Considering this, I'm working on a "criticism" section in my sandbox. If you would like to contribute either there or in the article itself, I'd be delighted for the help. Thanks!--Grapplequip (formerly LAR) (talk) 02:03, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There's no need for a criticism section here, any more than Patricia Churchland's views need to be posted in criticism sections of other philosophers with whom she disagrees.
Your sandbox has sections for criticism of Eliminative Materialism, Neurophilosophy, and Neuroethics ... any such criticisms belong with articles on those subjects--they aren't criticisms of Patricia Churchland. (And the notion of criticism of topics like Neurophilosophy and Neuroethics is somewhat incoherent.) User:Jibal|Jibal]] (talk) 09:09, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
