Please clarify

[edit]

Please clarify the phrase "... after a lesbian opera singer crush mentioned that she had trouble identifying with ..." - I don't see how the word "crush" fits in. The phrase makes sense if that word is removed. --Redrose64 (talk) 12:15, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In the sense of "person on whom one has a crush." Roscelese (talkcontribs) 13:19, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
How about "... after a lesbian opera singer (upon whom Persons had a crush) mentioned that she had trouble identifying with ..."? --Redrose64 (talk) 13:56, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Looks fine to me (though I would use commas rather than parentheses as I am a pedant). Go ahead and change it, if you like - it's certainly not my place to say you can't! Roscelese (talkcontribs) 18:16, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
