Hi! Will review this. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 06:10, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
Well-written article. Only a few points to make: Sainsf <^>Feel at home 16:25, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Description
- A note can be added on what the "chain" unit is.
- Already in note 1. -mattbuck (Talk) 16:45, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, did not notice. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 16:50, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Can CCTV camera be linked?
- I didn't link it on grounds of not liking common concepts, but ok, can do. -mattbuck (Talk) 16:45, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- As you like. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 16:50, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- A note can be added on what the "chain" unit is.
- Services
- Great Western Railway who operate most I think "who" should be "that" and the Railway should be considered a single unit, and thus it should be said "operates".
- Sorted. -mattbuck (Talk) 17:43, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Several duplicate links: London Paddington, Filton Abbey Wood, South Wales Main Line, Bristol Parkway, Pilning.
- Regarding duplicate links, it's always been my opinion that there should be no duplicates within level 2 headings, but that having the same link in several sections should be ok on the grounds that people don't always read the entire article, especially when it's a long one. -mattbuck (Talk) 10:00, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- I see your point. Alright, duplinks can be kept if they are necessary. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 06:08, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- Great Western Railway who operate most I think "who" should be "that" and the Railway should be considered a single unit, and thus it should be said "operates".
- History
- More duplinks: Bristol Temple Meads, River Severn, Pilning, South Wales Main Line, Henbury Loop Line, South Gloucestershire, Great Western Railway, Arriva CrossCountry, Manchester Piccadilly.
- and few details about it survive I think "remain" would be better than "survive"
- I'm not sure remain implies quite the same thing. I've reworded it to very little else is known about it. -mattbuck (Talk) 16:45, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Fine. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 16:50, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- the gradient between Pilning and Patchway, 1 in 68 Can this be explained in simpler words?
- I'm really not sure how to be more simple than 1 in 68. -mattbuck (Talk) 16:45, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Perhaps link gradient? I am not familiar with this term here, so could not get it. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 16:50, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- That's done now. -mattbuck (Talk) 17:11, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Perhaps link gradient? I am not familiar with this term here, so could not get it. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 16:50, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- What is a community mosaic?
- I've replaced community with decorative. -mattbuck (Talk) 16:45, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Fine. Sainsf <^>Feel at home 16:50, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Future
- Duplinks:Greater Western passenger franchise, impending upgrade to the Great Western Main Line, CrossCountry
- Citations
- Lower case in ref. no.s 36 and 48.
- The capital letters are in the original documents, I thought it best to stick with the original format. -mattbuck (Talk) 16:45, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- Lower case in ref. no.s 36 and 48.
That should be all. These done, I would be glad to promote this. Good luck! Sainsf <^>Feel at home 16:25, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
I believe all the issues have now been addressed. This article is ready for promotion. Great job! Sainsf <^>Feel at home 06:08, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thankyou very much! -mattbuck (Talk) 07:34, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
