[edit]I'm copying a list of online mentions I compiled for the AfD here, in case anyone wants to pick out the reliable ones and use them to expand the article:
- Billboard; Sydney Morning Herald; The Courier Mail; The Northern Star; Volterre; TheMusic.com.au; sfd; DIY magazine; The 405; INDIE magazine; Vogue Paris; ABC's Triple J
The quotes attached to a reproduced press release here suggest more coverage in other places, which I didn't happen upon in my Google search. Mortee (talk) 00:30, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
Australian-based or based in Berlin, origin Australia.
[edit]First paragraph, with reference to info panel, needs rewording to eliminate contradiction. Their website implies they're Europe based, and I've heard they're Australian, but don't know either for sure, or anything much about the band at all in fact, so don't have good references and will leave rewrite to someone more appropriate. huwg 114.198.9.62 (talk) 01:44, 4 June 2019 (UTC)

Parcels (band) → Parcels – The band is the only mention to a plural of the term and gets significantly the most views [[1]]. Seems redundant to disambiguate when I'd say it's the primary topic here (note I am talking about parcels plural, not the singular parcel) especially when considering WP:SMALLDETAILS. Otherwise I'd be open to changing the redirect from Parcels → Parcels (band) to Parcels → Parcel, but as it is it's flawed. orangesclub 🍊 04:29, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Note: This is a contested technical request (permalink). Talk:Parcel has been notified of this RM. Raladic (talk) 04:57, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Comment (from WP:RM/TR) @Orangesclub While yes, this does point there. It looks like a user changed the redirect target of Parcels from Parcel without discussion, so arguably, this may be contentious to begin with whether this band is primary topic over the plural of parcel and should actually be reverted. Recommend a full RM. Raladic (talk) 03:59, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose and redirect back to the DAB per WP:PLURALPT and WP:ASTONISH unlike Crickets or Oranges the meanings at the singular DAB page are countable. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:38, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose, outrageous. Revert everything. 162 etc. (talk) 20:21, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose and revert back to the redirect to Parcel, per Crouch, Swale and 162 etc., as there are clearly multiple topics on the disambiguation page that can and will be referred to in the plural. I think this is a borderline speedy revert case. BD2412 T 02:20, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose as not everyone knows about the band, but everyone knows about Windows, which redirects to Microsoft Windows. Pppery has since reverted the redirect. Perhaps a bit of WP:DIFFCAPS would be possible, but all Wikipedia articles start with a capital letter due to technical reasons. JuniperChill (talk) 11:41, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
