Examples whether listed or described may help define the scope. So Undine (novella) and The Little Mermaid (novelette) should be considered. I wouldn't call those stories or their female characters "paranormal" and borderline examples do help define. See the next section --P64 (talk) 17:57, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This article defines "paranormal romance" broadly regarding its adjective, so that it is not a subset of paranormal fiction. I am not comfortable with that, it doesn't seem useful to me, but it may be how the term is used. We should explain.
