The description of a paracolic gutter (as given in the article,) is a space between the colon and the abdominal wall.
The two paramesenteric gutters are not spaces between the colon and the abdominal wall but spaces between the colon and the root of the mesentry. I have updated the two articles (Paracolic gutters & Paramesenteric gutters) to reflect this.
