- It is reasonably well written.
- a (prose, spelling, and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
- While the lead looks good, it should be at least three to four paragraphs since the page has 49,610 characters as per WP:LEADLENGTH.
- a (prose, spelling, and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
- Done. Split into four paragraphs, and organized better.
- It is factually accurate and verifiable.
- a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR): d (copyvio and plagiarism):
- While all dead citations should be archived, we should also add archives for live ones as well. When I ran Earwig's copyvio machine, there was at least 73.3%% confidence that it could be a copyvio from this source, but I could be wrong.
- a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR): d (copyvio and plagiarism):
- It is broad in its coverage.
- a (major aspects): b (focused):
- No problems here.

- I'm placing this review on hold for now. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 04:48, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Pass/Fail:
- Sjones23: I checked the sources at hand that are causing the most suspicion in terms of plagiarism and it turns out that besides trigger words such as Paper Mario: The Origami King, most of the phrases flagged up in the comparisons are referenced in the article as quotes by the game's director. Hopefully, I did something useful. CaptainGalaxy 10:52, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Sjones23:True, these quotes are pretty bulky, but cutting out portions of them would make them confusing to understand, so they were kept in their entirety. Le Panini Talk 10:56, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- And now it's time for our third Paper Mario article. Nice work. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 01:40, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
