Climate
[edit]This sentence from the opening paragraph seems correct:
The yearly average temperature variation is between 24°C (75°F) and 28°C (82°F) during the rain season (October-March) and 28°C (82°F) and 35°C (95°F) during the dry season (May-September).
However, it is contradicted by what is said under the heading Climate:
An equatorial climate is a type of tropical climate in which there is no dry season – all months have mean precipitation values of at least 60 mm. It is usually found at latitudes within five degrees of the equator – which are dominated by the Intertropical Convergence Zone. The equatorial climate is denoted Af in the Köppen climate classification. Tropical rainforest is the natural vegetation in equatorial regions.
Also, the city is located at 10°12′S and therefore not withing five degrees of the equator (inner tropical, always humid). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dekthep (talk • contribs) 04:19, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
