About this page
[edit]There's obviously some history in this building with the Bank of Poland and the Stock Exchange which I can see reference to it in other (English) Wiki pages but no exact details - obviously something that could be added by someone with skills much better than mine!
Also details of the Rotunda and that the Museum of John Paul II Collection is in there somewhere (I think I've seen the door which must be the most unglamorous museum/gallery door ever).
The majority of this article is sourced from the German wiki page for the same place (as it's much bigger than the Polish page) - and with reference to the Polish page and also to the wiki page for Plac Bankowy. I've been to the building a lot so that helps. I've run it through Google Translate as I don't speak German (or Polish) so it's the best I can get - apart from my own grammar mistakes that have been introduced. There's actually two articles in Polish Wikipedia - one that this links to and also this one [1] which has a bit of detail too. By the sound of it, there's actually 3 buildings - the (former) stock exchange, the (former) minister's palace, and the (former) bank - and they've gradually merged into one big government office.
