Released under the Warner Bros. International banner
Released under the Warner Bros. International banner; Universal Pictures owns North American rights. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.222.93.115 (talk) 03:57, 28 March 2017 (UTC)

- I asked the IP user repeatedly to back up that claim – here and on their talk page (the IP address is stable).
- WB is not the international distributor. Universal is. See for example:
- Universal Pictures Belgium: https://www.facebook.com/UniversalPicturesBelgium/videos/1564323960315391/
- Universal Pictures Germany: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hrcYDWrwS0
- The amount of repetition of that claim leads me to the conclusion that they are edit warring, maybe even vandalizing.
- I'll ask the admins to protect this page. --KAMiKAZOW (talk) 15:00, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
Running time
People are currently editing the running time back and forth to different values.
If the current reference is wrong, find one that supports that but don't just edit the number and contradict the reference. --KAMiKAZOW (talk) 11:37, 10 March 2018 (UTC)
- The director of the film, Steven DeKnight, has confirmed on Twitter that the runtime is 1 hour and 51 minutes. https://twitter.com/stevendeknight/status/972599717459709952 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8803:3000:7510:18BE:697F:118F:5304 (talk) 05:25, 11 March 2018 (UTC)

Proper Budget
while Box Office Mojo lists the production budget for the film at $150 million, Deadline and The Numbers have it at $155, while Deadline also notes that numerous of their insiders have it “at much higher, even $176”. User:Thiruvishnukumar keeps insisting on reverting to the $150 figure without explanation, either as a troll or just because he’s uninformed. Shouldn’t be the case as Wikipedia’s infobox rules state put any and all reported budgets into a range. TropicAces (talk) 11:20, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- Agree. Budget should read: $150 million (cite Mojo) - $176 million (cite Deadline).--Tenebrae (talk) 21:00, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- Tenebrae I left a note on his Talk Page but it’s clear Thiruvishnukumar has no intentions of taking part in this discussion and will continue to (assumingly) troll and change the budget (even going so far as erasing the links). I don’t want to get myself in trouble for edit warring, but feel something has to be done. Cheers. TropicAces (talk) 16:38, 3 April 2018 (UTC)tropicAces

Please change the year in which it says the film takes place. It's 2035, not 2030. Steppenwolf2018 (talk) 18:56, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. — IVORK Discuss 02:43, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
Post-credits scene
Hi, i originally edited the plot and added that the "post-credits" scene is BEFORE the actual credits. But now it's locked and returned to "post-credits", do the title of the film count as "credits"? Because actually the movie ends, you get "Pacific Rim: Uprising" title and then the scene with Newt and Jake, and then the credits with all names like the actors and the producers etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.30.68.100 (talk) 19:43, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- Per hidden note: "This does not apply a POST CREDITS SCENE." Carl Tristan Orense (talk) 01:44, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
Voice of computer
Is the voice of the Gypsy Jaeger computer (at 32:08 and 49:30) the same voice as the turrets in the Portal video game? --RAN (talk) 18:47, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
- She's also GLaDOS! Pacific Rim (film)#Cast has more information on her casting. Reach Out to the Truth 21:39, 19 May 2018 (UTC)

Pacific Rim Uprising → Pacific Rim: Uprising – Official movie name has a colon (:) after "Rim"; movie is listed that way on IMDb and in reviews by multiple reputable sources including The Guardian and The Verge. Cogaidh (talk) 16:16, 14 December 2018 (UTC)

Box Office Bomb
The cited source does not characterize the film's performance as a "bomb." This portion should be edited or removed to avoid NPOV violation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:147:C300:B7C0:C6B:ADE3:BE91:8EA5 (talk) 21:10, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
