Broad gauge version?!
[edit]On the SA3 coupler article site, there were information of a purpose built version of this locomotive for the Slovak-Ukrainian Uzhhorod - Košice broad gauge track (with the coupler-in-question instead of buffer and chain couplings). The information is edited away now (or at least moved to the tracks own article), but I think it might be relevant for this article. If anyone has more details i suggest that they would be added to this article. Ssteinberger (talk) 23:57, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

At the end of 2008, due to worldwide economic downturn and related to in drop in demand for freight transportation, the whole series ET40 and ET42 was mothballed by PKP Cargo S.A.. 109.243.182.104 (talk) 15:58, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
