Statement doesn't make sense
[edit]"After pollination, the ovary will grow into the fruit, while the ovule(s) become the seed(s)."
The seeds ARE the fruit. Lengis 16:37, 13 August 2006 (UTC) seeds are not the fruit — Preceding unsigned comment added by 182.186.75.7 (talk) 16:51, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
Proposed move
[edit]Seems like most of the other pages that require disambiguation in parentheses for botanical terms are in the form of X (botany) (e.g. scape (botany), head (botany), spine (botany), stipe (botany), column (botany), rosette (botany), etc.). I suggest this article be moved to Ovary (botany). --Rkitko (talk) 05:46, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
