Samuel Hahnemann statue

[edit]

Re: the Samuel Hahnemann statue at Scott Circle. Anyone know why there is a statue of this German homeopathic physician in Washington? Does this guy have any connection to the United States? I just want to make sure we're linking to the correct article here and, if so, maybe there is info that can be added to the Samuel Hahnemann article. --dm (talk) 19:30, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Did a little research and found that the statue was placed there by the American Institute of Homeopathy so the link is correct. --dm (talk) 08:13, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redundancy

[edit]

This article appears to be redundant when compared to List of public art in Washington, D.C.. Perhaps this information should be merged into that list. --RichardMcCoy (talk) 15:08, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, the more working on this the better! :) Missvain (talk) 01:44, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
@RichardMcCoy and Missvain: See Talk:List_of_public_art_in_Washington,_D.C.#Merger_proposal. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:43, 25 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There's a more general question here about what information readers should be able to expect from this kind of page. (I say this as someone who is working on the Boston public art page, which is way behind this one indevelopment. What is WP policy on lists like this? Should they be incorporated onto a page that gives context for the development of public artwork in that area locale? That makes sense to me. But--what's the WP take on these questions? French version of the article

[edit]

Perhaps the translation of the French version would be interesting. Some sections are already translated. Regards.--Stefanos Stefanos (talk) 20:31, 28 February 2016 (UTC)Stefanos Stefanos[reply]
