I have raised a citation need against statement that the English Parliament met at Oswestry in 1398. The statement as is is not supported by details of meeting places given in the list of Parliaments of England. The session that ended in January 1398 (there were none called rest of that year) was known as the 'Great Parliament' for the size of entourage and met initially in Westminster, then adjourned to Shrewsbury Abbey.Cloptonson (talk) 16:31, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The citation from the History of Parliament that was added does not mention that parliament was held in Oswestry in January 1398 but in Shrewsbury as far as I can see from having read through it. (I give opportunity for some one to point out the relevant text in case its appearance was blink-and-you-miss it before deleting it.)Cloptonson (talk) 06:40, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
