Suggested change
[edit]@Zigzig20s:.
- Waymarking isn't a reliable source, in the same way that Wikipedia isn't - it is crowd sourced with no systematic mechanism for fact checking or accuracy: WP:WPNOTRS. Fortunately, Waymarking also gives the nomination form as its reference - I suggest you replace the Waymarking source with the nomination form. I have replaced some of the information that apparently came from the Focus DB for the historic district, such as the build date and architecture style, with the data from the inventory of homes given for 15 portland place.
- You have listed three architects individually. The given waymarking references, as does the nomination form, gives the architectural firm of Widdman, Walsh and Boisselier. That should be what is in the article as the architect, not the named partners individually.

Individual notability
[edit]For the record, unless this house is distinguished in some way from the 93 other homes in the district, I suggest that it should be merged with the district article. The nominators for the HD didn't think it deserved an individual listing - why do we? Generic1139 (talk) 04:43, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- I would suggest you try to be more constructive and collaborative and try to expand this article with references before trying to merge it. This house is notable for its connection to Anheuser-Busch as well as its architects, etc. I have no idea if the 93 other homes are notable and don't care; I have started working on an article about this house, not the other houses. The nominators listed the entire historic district for convenience (to avoid having to fill out 90+ forms). I intend to expand this article later but right now I am put off by your hostility.Zigzig20s (talk) 05:16, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
- Helpful is to correct the errors in the article, add the map, and make the HD article. Constructive and collaborative is discussing things on the talk page. Hostile would be to tag the page with a merge template. Really hostile would be to simply make the change myself. Per WP:COOL, there are 90,000 other NRHP properties - I'll go work on some of them.
