Fair use rationale for Image:OregonTech 150px.gif

Image:OregonTech 150px.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Adding section about Gay-Straight Alliance?

Hi. This is my first post, first proposed edit, first everything. My name is Lion, and I am the brand new President of the OIT On-Campus Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA).

I would like to add some information about the GSA to the WikiPedia page about OIT -- maybe link to a page designated for the OIT GSA?

I wanted to check with the community to see what the best method would be to do this. I wanted to do this so that people know that we're here, and we're aiming to make a difference on campus. However, I wanted to do it the right way the first time, and I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be sacrificing neutrality because I am the President, and obviously in favor of gay rights (and therefore not completely neutral on the subject).

Would it be proper to list myself as a source? There are no published documents that say certain things (such as the history of the GSA, or the future goals, or the rate of on-campus anti-gay vandalism).

In addition, due to the very heated debate about gay rights, would it be appropriate to ask for protection to the OIT page, or for the new page being created for the GSA if its suggested I go that route *before* any vandalism takes place, or only *after* a vandalism event happens?

Thank you for all of your input!

90% ROFLMAO

You Liberals do know that the number of graduates getting jobs directly related to their degree is SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than 90% don't you? DonnyD'oh (talk) 01:04, 22 September 2016 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Oregon Institute of Technology

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Oregon Institute of Technology's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 08:50, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Merger proposal

It doesn't seem consequential to merge the two campus pages with this one. As it's a small, regional institution, it doesn't seem to merit separate pages. Or, conversely, the other campuses like Chemeketa and Seattle should be added. Wispipedia (talk) 17:41, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
