Aerial evidence
[edit]Although I have no way of sourcing this information since I came across it only by overlaying a 1909 land ownership atlas of Tigard available at ancestry.com onto modern Google Earth images, the path of the former Electric Railway tracks can still be seen angling to the northeast from Main Street in Tigard, passing SE of Washington Square and up to Multnomah Blvd in the form of trees, property boundaries, and barren strips of land. I know, I know, original research is bad for Wikipedia, but I thought this was pretty cool when I saw it. --Billdorr (talk) 00:28, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Corvallis
[edit]The Oregon Electric line never went to Corvallis. The Corvallis line was a Southern Pacific line. Corvallis was served by a spur line that ended near the present day golf course. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 15.203.233.79 (talk) 18:15, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps this article has got the OER mixed up with SP's Red Electric line. Is that the case? Katr67 (talk) 18:37, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
