any possibility to watch the non-university channels via ostn? What are the live stream links? —Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs) by 24.19.241.214

Indeed, its called open. So why are the public channels not open for all? --93.82.15.235 (talk) 15:51, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the arrest of Prashant Chopra

[edit]

It looks like the information about the arrest of Prahant Chopra was reverted. As this arrest refers to sexual misconduct charges of the CEO of Student Television Network, I feel this material is highly relevent to those reading about the Open Student Televsion Network. In addition, based on the IP logs, it appears that the changes may have been made by a member of the OSTN management team, which leads me to believe that there may be some bias in the decision to revert this information. What does everyone think on this topic?

-- I'm placing some information back with links to the original judgment and some news articles about Prashant Chopra recently forgetting to re-register as a sex offender.

It's not libel to include information about a high-profile CEO like Ken Lay of Enron getting convicted, and neither is it libelous to include information about Prashant Chopra's conviction.

Fair use rationale for Image:Ostn-logo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Ostn-logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
