expanded on conference papers.
[edit]expanded on conference papers. Goerzel seems to be quite productive, and I have not included sources, for which I could not see that independent review had taken place. Anyway for a prototype released in 2009 two conference papers is sufficient to lift it over notability treshold Power.corrupts (talk) 17:32, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
- There is actually a book on opencog, published by springer: http://www.springer.com/computer/artificial/book/978-0-387-76871-7
- it focuses primarily on the reasoning subsystem (PLN), rather than the over-all architecture, although there is a section on opencog, under its old name, the "the Novamente Cognition Engine, an application of PLN". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.153.64.179 (talk) 22:15, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on OpenCog. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}

- Replaced archive link https://web.archive.org/web/20090306053354/http://www.cybertechnews.org/?p=915 with https://web.archive.org/web/20090306053354/http://www.cybertechnews.org/?p=915 on http://www.cybertechnews.org/?p=915

Cognitive Architecture
[edit]OpenCog doesn't seem to be a cognitive architecture in the sense of the linked article, e.g. "A cognitive architecture can refer to a theory about the structure of the human mind".
The paper (Hart, D; B Goertzel (2008)) uses the term in the sense of "the overall design of an AI system" which probably explains the confusion.
I will edit the article to change that aspect.

I just noticed that this article is also categorized as "Cognitive architecture" and I have no idea how to change this. It would be nice if anybody could help with that. 2A02:8108:1A00:28FC:E59B:B281:A6BC:34FB (talk) 14:00, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
