Blocked
[edit]This ip address has been blocked for 1 year as a sock puppet of Linas (talk · contribs · global contribs · page moves · user creation · block log) that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 19:38, 3 December 2013 (UTC) |
- What part of our blocking policy do you not understand? You were blocked on your actual account a year ago, and have the option to request an unblock with that account. But, using an IP address to evade that block is simply not allowed. — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 19:46, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:
I don't get it. I don't believe that any of the edits made anonymously here have offended anybody at all. They have all been on esoteric, technical subjects that are fundamentally inoffensive! I have appealed my block, following the instructions on the "appeal this block" page, five times now, and have been told in extremely clear and unequivocal terms that my block will never ever, till the end of the universe, be unblocked. I have run out of options, have no recourse. I simply fail to understand the utter hostility that is being beamed in my direction. What is it here that is setting everybody off so much? I really want to understand what the underlying problem is! 99.153.64.179 (talk) 21:13, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
The underlying problem is that this community has policies and rules, and you violated them sufficiently so that you were asked to stay away, and you obviously do not understand the "stay away" part. No, really, we mean it. --jpgordon::==( o ) 21:26, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Hmmm. Oh well, OK. This all started because I was unjustly attacked by an admin, and had the gall to fight back. I am only asking for truth, honour and justice: these are fundamental human rights and freedoms. I am saddened to be told, for the umpteenth time, that WP rules and policies seem to run counter to such fundamental notions. I am being victimized, and all this is fundamentally wrong and unjust. 99.153.64.179 (talk) 22:42, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

- Thanks for the support. I don't know what's wrong with these people; as the above admin clearly illustrates, there's certainly a lot of rank incompetence and outright maliciousness in the wikipedia leadership. I don't think its that important for me to get re-instated; I think the real goal has to be to clear the decks, and get all of these admins removed and replaced by people who actually care about improving Wikipedia, and have the general smarts and abilities to run things, to promote good authorship, and to nurture high-quality, productive authors. I really don't understand how it happened that talentless clowns run the show. I also don't understand how to ever get it fixed, but clearly ... it needs fixing. Oh well. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
