This reference is invalid as the link returns a 404 error: 2. Taken from: http://www.macleans.ca/article.jsp?content=20030626_105228_3132 on June 14, 2010. Furthermore, according to the "Conditions of Admission and Participation" page on the OUF website (http://www.ouf.ca/resources/conditions/), backpacks are allowed, they are just subject to security checks. The recommendation is that backpacks are left at home, but they are still allowed. CarlaWhite (talk) 18:52, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
