[edit]There is a good encyclopedic article on the subject of "Ongon" written by Roberte Hayamon in 1987 which was also represented, with additional bibliographical material, in the 2005 Encyclopedia of Religion edited by Lindsay Jones. The source is available on the Highbeam Research site. I believe a version of it is also available free online, here, and another version of it published in a Macmillan compendium is I believe available free on the internet as well.
