I reverted this edit. It looks like a well-intentioned contribution but I just couldn't make any sense out of it. Aside from the sentence about being a UNICEF ambassador, I had no idea how to clean this up. PowersT14:04, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
@Versace1608: Stop arguing with me, you can not know more about the dynamics of the Nigerian movie industry than I do. Your user-page suggest you are based in America, so I'm not surprised. I saw it live when Olisa chose to use the real Africa Magic to describe Omotola, the first thing that came to everyone's mind was the channel. Note that this statement was made at #AMVCA2013. The channel and its award ceremony was the major motivation for him using that phrase. Africa Magic is a major brand with a unique cult following in Nigeria. The moment any Nigerian hears Africa Magic, the first thing that comes to their mind is the TV station. This is similar to people using Lord of the Rings to refer to certain objects and individuals, and the film articles are wikilinked, because they are the inspiration for such thoughts. If you undo my edit again, I will report you to administrators for sanctions. Isakaba (talk) 10:12, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The "Africa Magic" Omotola is referred to is just a nickname. The "Africa Magic" you're wikilinking is an article of a TV channel. There's no correlation between the two; your edit qualifies as a haox, which is a form of vandalism. Be aware that persistent Vandalism of Wikipedia may get you blocked from editing without further notice.--Jamie Tubers (talk) 21:48, 20 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I need you to provide answers to the following questions:
At what event was she first called "Africa Magic"?
What comes to the mind of an average Nigerian when they hear the word "Africa Magic"
Are there enough coverage that shows links of her being called "Africa Magic" at the 2013 Africa Magic awards?
Is the person that coined the word notable?
You know the truth. It lies within the answers to my questions. I am going to undo your edit again, and you need to generate consensus on this talk-page before deciding to revert my edit. If you refuse to get consensus first, then we will be meeting at an administrators noticeboard. Cheers. Isakaba (talk) 09:25, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Jamie Tubers: I wanted to report Isakaba for disruptive editing, but decided to take him to SPI because I have a hunch that he is Darreg. I am patiently waiting for the results of the SPI. I don't know why he isn't understanding what we're saying. Versace1608(Talk)11:23, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I also believe he is Darreg, just didn't wanna jump the gun. It's quite unfortunate what he has degenerated into, if he's actually the one. I'll just wait for the result of the SPI as well.--Jamie Tubers (talk) 20:19, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have just added archive links to one external link on Omotola Jalade Ekeinde. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
