[edit]Should it really be the case that one sexual harassment lawsuit is at the top, in the history section, with everything else about the history of the company? This seems like maybe fit for a subsection. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.60.241.99 (talk) 14:19, 18 May 2017 (UTC)

illuminati???
[edit]- Affiliation with the Illuminati: Unproven
Well, the NPOV wikipedia entry Illuminati suggests that Illuminati stuff is just conspiracy theory. There are plenty of documented facts out there for anyone interested in finding them... Boud 00:42, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- Everyone's connection to the Illuminati is inherently unproven. If there was proof, it'd automatically become a connection to a known entity. Like Twitter. Or Atlas Solutions. Utterly boring. But maybe this article should mention these connections, even if they're just real. InedibleHulk (talk) 02:54, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
management of DAS
[edit]"The CEO of Diversified Agency Services("DAS") is Thomas L. Harrison. The President is Dale A. Adams, the CFO is John C. Doolittle, and the CIO is Jason S. Cohen." Why is this in there? As I write this the article doesn't even list Omnicom's CEO, yet it lists the entire upper management of DAS for no good reason. I'm deleting it. Byset (talk) 19:47, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
creation of Omnicom
[edit]"Omnicom was formed in 1986" : certainly not in 1986. At that time I was an employee of BBDO, and I can certify BBDO was an independent network. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.145.128.31 (talk) 14:41, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
Merge proposal: Merkley+Partners to here
[edit]Merkley+Partners has beent agged for notability for 7 years. It could be a good section here though. Pinging Merkster12, Pdeitiker. Boleyn (talk) 18:44, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- Looking at Template:Omnicom I see a line for four National Advertising Agencies:
- Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (founded 1983, 300+ employees)
- GSD&M (founded 1971, 400+ employees)
- Martin Williams (founded 1947)
- Merkley+Partners (founded 1993, 160 employees)
- The first three cross the notability threshold, but the fourth one doesn't? Because it's newer or has fewer employees?
- Boleyn, please "relist" by restoring the merge template with the date=March 2018 as this one has become quite old and has fallen off the front of the WikiProject Merge work queue. Thanks, wbm1058 (talk) 14:12, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- Relisted; and added template on the other page, too, and added explicit link to this discussion. I too support the merge (rather than just a deletion by redirect). Klbrain (talk) 14:18, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
Oppose merge. The Merkley+Partners article certainly has room for improvement, but a merge would either lose a lot of the information in that article, or violate undue weight in this (already long) article. UnitedStatesian (talk) 03:08, 10 March 2018 (UTC)
Media One Marketing Group?
[edit]Omnicom Group#Operations starts out saying: Omnicom is composed of five major agency networks including Media One Marketing Group that oversee 1500+ agencies as parent companies. The phrase "Media One Marketing Group" was added two and a half ago by an infrequently contributing IP editor. [[1]]. I Googled the group and can't find any mention of them, including on the Omnicom web site or 10K annual report. Since it's unsourced, it could be spam, so I'm taking it off, but feel free to let me know if it should be there. Anyone from Omnicom who is page stalking is welcome to clarify if this is an actual entity or not. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 22:16, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
