Secretariat?
[edit]Someone needs to clarify the way that the Secretary of Transportation relates to the Department. The relationship seems to me (I may be wrong) that Ridley is the true head of the department, and Tomlinson (the Secretary) acts as the liason between ODOT and the Governor, working to implement Henry's transportation policies. But all of this is basically my best guess and needs to be verified.
Also, someone referred to Tomlinson's jurisdiction as the "Secretariat of Transportation"; is this an established term for whatever the arrangement is? —Scott5114↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 20:51, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
I have corrected the article to reflect the fact that Phil Tomlinson is the Cabinet Secretary of Transportation and that Gary Ridley is the Director of ODOT. --TommyBoy (talk) 16:42, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Budget
[edit]The article stated that ODOT's budget is "well over $1 billion", and cites it to a state budget document, but an article published in the Tulsa World on January 17 quotes $415 million. I must admit, I cannot easily glean a total budget from the budget document. Can anyone investigate and find out which is correct? —Scott5114↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 17:45, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
