Confusion over accepted nomenclature
[edit]HELP! I can't tell whether the accepted name here is Gaura parviflora, or Gaura mollis.
I'll be doing more research on it as soon as possible. If anyone has any more information, please assist!
- Alright, well, it seems G. mollis is the more widely used name, so I'll use that. However, I'm not sure how to note that the name was changed; it seems worth mentioning.
About the biological authority... in many of the sources, after G. mollis is the name James. I'm not sure who this refers to: there is no James on the List of botanists by author abbreviation, and I can't find reference to who this James actually is. If anyone sees this, help would be appreciated. AlexDitto 16:14, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
