1550 BC?

[edit]
  • ...celebrating Tutmoses III's victory on the banks of the river Euphrates in 1550 BC.

Thutmose III's reign is usually dated from April 24, 1479 to March 11, 1425 BCE. I think "1550 BC" should be "1450 BC" or "15th century BC". But I can't access the ref and check. --PFHLai (talk) 00:09, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The French Wikipedia gives 1550, but that does seem to be an error for 1450 as you suggest. Will try to track down the source.Neddyseagoon - talk 16:53, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proclus?

[edit]

Is it known to which governor Proclus the inscription refers? And do we have an article on him? --Delirium (talk) 08:58, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
