Forbidden in The Netherlands?
[edit]The article says that the bike has been forbidden in The Netherlands (Rotterdam) since August 2017. I find this hard to believe, as I see them (still) everywhere (in Rotterdam). The sources (6) and (7) only mention the introduction of the oBikes in The Netherlands, not that they are forbidden. So I would like to see some source to back this up, or the piece can be removed.
Proposed merge with OBike (Taiwan)
[edit]Same system, with very little in the way of uniqueness to warrant a standalone article SounderBruce 02:33, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
- Agree: this makes sense. = paul2520 (talk) 00:57, 20 January 2018 (UTC)

Structure of article
[edit]oBike is abandoning operations in Melbourne, Australia due to tough government penalties for abandoned bikes. I felt this worthy of inclusion, so added it to the Controversy section. Another editor moved my addition to the main entry for Australia with the Edit summary "works better in national section where controversy is introduced". (There were already some words there about the dramas with oBikes in Australia.)
I can accept having my text moved, but wonder about the other stuff in the Controversy section. Those are obviously not the only controversies oBike has encountered worldwide. I would recommend eliminating that section, and including all "controversial" issues to the main entries for those countries. HiLo48 (talk) 23:49, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
- probably a good idea. The 'controversy' sections are often a hodge-podge. 58.153.66.47 (talk) 05:55, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
Now, pls can we update which markets oBike has withdrawn from (SCMP, 30 Jun 2018) 58.153.66.47 (talk) 05:55, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
