Rename?
[edit]Wouldn't it be better if this article was renamed "North Australia Railway"? That was it's name from 1926 to it's demise.Johnmc 05:59, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Couldn't it be, that the Name was North Australian Railway? See photograph. -- Reinhard Dietrich (talk) 07:26, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Definitely no "n". All books etc. that I've read on this line have always referred to it like this. At the time of the name change (from Northern Territory Railways), the Northern Territory was divided into two separate territories, North Australia and Central Australia, so that may have influenced the name. Can't account for the museum name, though. :-) Johnmc (talk) 08:33, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Railway closure
[edit]Ammended section on closure to be more accurate. Sulzer55 (talk) 07:25, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
I have added a route map I created for this line, but I have not made the template protected, so feel free to edit as appropriate.Dfadden (talk) 02:24, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
- The route looks excellent and thank you! Skillsy (talk) 02:54, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
