Emperor Akihito
[edit]I have found no original source that proves Emperor Akihito was awarded the Nishan-e-Pakistan. His name was added to the article in January 2014 with no citation. There have been a few subsequent articles and lists published online that mention Akihito as a recipient, likely using this page as a source without substantiating it. I have added a citation needed tag for now. Nontrivial0 (talk) 23:32, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
Dilip Kumar
[edit]He was given the Nishan-e-Imtiaz, not Nishan-e-Pakistan. http://www.rediff.com/news/1999/jul/14dilip1.htm. Nishan-e-Pakistan is only given to Foreign Heads of State (technically people with Head of State status ... so some religious leaders can get it). Removed his name from the list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kas1234567 (talk • contribs) 10:32, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

Section removed
[edit]I (removed) a section from this article, as there is already an article about Hilal-e-Pakistan with more information. If you have any question, concerns or feedback, please ping me. Thanks TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 18:13, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
Remove section
[edit]Hi, please move Recipients of the Sitara-e-Pakistan section to another related article and keep Nishan-e-Pakistan award for the single purpose only i.e recipients of Nishan-e-Pakistan only. @Kautilya3: thanks. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 03:37, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
