Date of birth
[edit]I tagged the date of birth in this article because Nicole has generally NOT been willing to share how old she is. Her standard answer is "I'm older than Britany (sic) and younger than Janet" [1]; assuming this refers to Britney Spears (December 2, 1981) and Janet Jackson (May 16, 1966), the date given barely qualifies. More importantly: (a) At least three years of "happy birthday" posts on Nicole's official forum [2] indicate her birthday is January 3rd, not June 26th; and (b) certain other little-known facts in her life (let's just say they're related to the abusive past she mentioned in her recent Christianity Today interview [3], and leave it at that) suggest a birth year in the early-to-mid 1970's is more likely. (Indeed, her abusive past may have something to do with why she's unwilling to give out her actual date of birth.) Whoever provided the June 26, 1967 date, PLEASE provide a reference! --RBBrittain 12:23, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
- Also note that Nicole's IMDb page [4] shows a birthdate of January 3, 1964; though the month and day match up with the forum posts, the year does NOT match either her standard answer (it would make her OLDER than Janet) or the little-known facts I alluded to earlier. Because her birthdate at IMDb is questionable, I'm not linking it in the article proper just yet; nor am I entering the complete birth name shown on IMDb (though Coleman is in fact her maiden name, and also the "C." in her current name). --RBBrittain 05:12, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
