Early life

[edit]

Seriously? A 28-year-old has an 'early life' section? When's the lifetime achievement award?

Florence Welch

[edit]

there is uttler no evidence that he said him and florence welch are in a relationship, its totally fabricated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.145.131.197 (talk) 07:14, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is this person notable?

[edit]

There seems to be a significant lack of consequential information. Macphysto (talk) 15:05, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The significant lack of significant information makes this into a fan page unfortunately, the jury's out on noteworthiness, and there's not much wide ranging background biog sources. Violetbeau (talk) 22:21, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The fan in question can't even be much of a fan, as no case is made for this person's noteworthiness. Macphysto (talk) 11:46, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would say he is notable, he has a definite history in music broadcasting. 86.157.55.98 (talk) 22:31, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I really don't feel he is notable, he is a radio presenter not a musician and not well known by the public 77.97.141.75 (talk) 21:20, 31 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

In a five-minute interview with Matthew Stadlen on bbc.co.uk, Nick Grimshaw said he studied Media and Business Studies at Liverpool, and did not get a first:

[edit]

The peronal life section only mentions that nick grimshaw is gay. this is uncited and seemingly irrrelevant in the article. please can someone either flesh out the personal life section a little bit, or preferably remove it altogether until it is properly cited and relevant to the article.

Edit: I believe that again, this area of the article does not contain enough content to make it a proper section of this article. Could we at least place a "This is a stub" notice? ∫ A Y

Done. I interpret your comment as a good-faith challenge to uncited, contentious information about a living person, and have therefore removed that entire section. I have no prejudice against re-adding that information if and only if it is cited to a reliable source reference. Inappropriate photo

[edit]

In the infobox, we have Nick Grimshaw with certain "fan". Since the fan has nothing to do with the subject, she doesn't belong there. Can't we have a photo where he Grimshaw appears separately without a fan getting a "free ride" on top of a Wikipedia page? An infobox photo should be preferably about "the" subject and the subject alone. Frankly, in case of no other photo existing in Wikimedia, I'd much prefer a photoless infobox. We have his face in the lower box anyway. werldwayd (talk) 09:19, 25 March 2013 (UTC) werldwayd (talk) 09:22, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

His sexuality in the lead section

[edit]

I don't think details of personal life should be included in the lead section because it's not why he's notable. It was restored with the edit summary "timing is relevant" but I'm not sure if that's implying that he got the Breakfast Show because he came out (I can't think of any other reason why the timing would be relevant). The main article text certainly makes no reference to the timing of any of it, so I still think it should be removed from the lead. AnemoneProjectors 21:20, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, MOS:BLPLEAD says not to include sexuality. anemoneprojectors 09:02, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Car crash

[edit]

Gotta be worth a mention.

Really going out of his way to avoid pussy!

Italic title

[edit]

Does anyone else the title in italics? I don't know why...can't find any {{Italic title}} or {{DISPLAYTITLE}} in the article. --Biscuit-in-Chief (TalkContribs) 18:17, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date Project Home information

[edit]

In the filmography section it says that Project Home is an upcoming 2023 series. It's now 2024. The information is out of date. (Fran Bosh (talk) 01:22, 27 March 2024 (UTC))[reply]
