Grammer change in the Personal life section.

Please remove "himself" from the opening sentence. It is not a generally accepted use of the reflexive in this form.

Please change it to "According to Fuentes, he is of Mexican descent via his paternal ancestors and is...."

Thank you. TheOriginalWikiWatcher (talk) 10:24, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-Thiel views

[edit]

Fuentes has positioned himself against Peter Thiel and the network of far-right thinkers affiliated with him. In particular, Fuentes claimed that Curtis Yarvin believes that “non-Jews are incapable of governing themselves and therefore must always be ruled by Jews.” (Yarvin, a Thiel associate whom JD Vance has cited approvingly, is part-Jewish). Given how influential the Thiel crowd has become in today’s GOP, the fact that Fuentes has declared all-out war on them is significant. It shows that the intraparty battles aren’t limited to just “establishment vs. MAGA” anymore, since neither Thiel nor Fuentes are considered to be establishment and both men are usually classified as far-right.2604:2D80:7186:600:0:0:0:1397 (talk) 18:29, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Q2: Fuentes denies being a white nationalist/white supremacist. Shouldn't the article reflect this?"

[edit]

I do not dispute the truthness of the allegation. I am not really happy about the way this section of the FAQ is written. It comes off as overly snarky and condescending towards the reader and just not very formal or 'Wiki-like'. The fact that it doesn't bother to even cite the relevant policies doesn't help Trade (talk) 18:27, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should imo be included. Do you have a source? misunderstood the question--FMSky (talk) 04:08, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How does one include something that's already included? Trade (talk) 15:35, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. He might well be all that, but an FAQ should not read like this. Would second removal of Q2 for the time being. Biohistorian15 (talk) 10:30, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I removed Q2. The article has mentioned Fuentes's denial since 2021, and the FAQ wasn't created until 2022. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 13:07, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should we add an video of Fuentes to the article?

Possible error regarding capitol remarks

[edit]

In the section about Fuentes's involvement in the U.S. Capitol attack, this page describes Fuentes as saying on January 6 that "It is us and our ancestors that created everything good that you see in this country. All these people that have taken over our country—we do not need them. ... It is the American people, and our leader, Donald Trump, against everybody else in this country and this world... Our Founding Fathers would get in the streets, and they would take this country back by force if necessary. And that is what we must be prepared to do."

But if you read the article cited there, the New Yorker article "Among the Insurrectionists," it seems clear that Fuentes made those remarks in an earlier rally on December 12. I don't have extended confirmed status, so can someone else fix this? 70.133.247.25 (talk) 21:45, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've adjusted this to provide more context. Thanks. Grayfell (talk) 22:33, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

On 4th September 2024, Fuentes posted his response to Trump finally admitting that he lost the 2020 election; he discussed so much wasted effort and so many bad consequences for so many people.

White nationalist Nick Fuentes blasts Trump for admitting that he lost the 2020 election: "So, why did we do Stop the Steal? ... It would have been good to know that before 1,600 people got charged." https://www.rightwingwatch.org/post/a-big-ripoff-white-nationalist-nick-fuentes-blasts-trump-for-admitting-he-lost-the-2020-election/ 78.150.228.172 (talk) 16:02, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to make the language of the article less biased. Additionally, the article provides very little information on Nick's personal life such as siblings.

Portions of the article related to his ventures with Ye, dinner with Trump, are very vague. For example, Nicholas discussed on one of his shows the content of the conversation he had with Donald Trump, but none of this appears in the article

Nick Fuentes isn’t a nazi. He has a beef with actual neo nazis. I’d more so call him a neo fascist. 2601:247:C881:1280:569:7A9B:9E17:360A (talk) 04:04, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Effect on 4B Movement

[edit]

I made an edit on a post he made on X. It could be added here. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=My_body,_my_choice&diff=prev&oldid=1256057499 207.96.32.81 (talk) 00:28, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The 4B movement is a vastly overblown sentiment that isn't even very popular in South korea, I don't really think it's notable Jjbomb (talk) 21:27, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
