Confusion about his burial place
[edit]The infobox says that he's buried in "Knight Cemetery, Jasper County, Mississippi" whereas the Later Life section says he's buried in"Knight Family Cemetery, next to Rachel on a hill in Jones County overlooking their farm," with a citation provided.
According to Google Maps, there's a Knight Family Cemetery in both counties. Could somebody clarify this?

[edit]Did he really try to take the county out of the Confederacy? See the Wik article on Jones county. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.138.191.93 (talk) 23:49, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Age / dob/dod
[edit]the age given is inconsistent with calculations for his age using the given date of birth and date of death. What is in error? Kdammers (talk) 01:22, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
Rudy H. Leverett
[edit]Leverett is a highly biased source who did not disclose in his book that he is the grandson of a Confederate officer who was supposedly killed by Knight. Several of his claims contradict known facts about Knight, which other authors have pointed out. I'm not really sure why this article that is about Knight should spend so much time talking about Leverett- and I'm fairly certain the majority of those paragraphs violate NPOV.
And stepping away from a neutral, editorial stance just a little, Wikipedia is not a platform to peddle Lost Cause revisionist ideology. --73.232.146.130 (talk) 17:30, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
