Optimistic anticipation
[edit]The paragraph about the Birmingham production is written in the past tense, even though the performances are (at the time of writing) in the future. This is dishonest and confusing. It's impossible to be sure whether the performances will happen, and there might be all kinds of eventualities which ought to be mentioned in an account of them. I'm very tempted to delete the paragraph or change the tense to the future, and make it clear that it is assuming success in a difficult enterprise. I hope the author will do it first - after the performances past tense could be restored. 46.208.239.107 (talk) 10:58, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
