Merge

The result of the debate was keep as individual articles. TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 09:13, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- Kancamagus Highway → New Hampshire Route 112
- Regarding the merge request: Nobody calls this road Route 112, not even the locals; everybody calls it Kancamagus Highway. So I would support redirecting New Hampshire Route 112 to Kancamagus Highway, but not the other way around.
- Actually, let me amend that, since NH route 112 extends beyond the Kancamagus. For that reason, the two separate articles are perfectly fine; I oppose any merger. The Kancamagus has its own personality and reputation that should not be subsumed into another article. - DavidWBrooks 20:39, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
- I also oppose the merger of NH Route 112, and the Kancamagus Hwy. This portion of the route merits its own article because of it's importance to fall foliage watchers, as well as it's federal distinction as a scenic byway. As a person who's driven on the highway, its sheer natural beauty easily distinguishes itself from the other parts of Rt. 112. Wxthewx99 17:35, 15 October 2006 (UTC) 17:35, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- I oppose the merging of the two articles. The Kancamagus Highway is, although part of NH 112, a separate entity. I didn't even know where NH 112 went west of Lincoln! Keep as two separate articles. JJ 14:22, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

merge proposal
[edit]I had put up the merge notice as per Wikipedia:Proposed mergers. Hadn't looked at this talk page, I'd only checked up on the other one. My mistake, thanks for pointing it out. Cheers! - xC - | ☎ 13:35, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
