It claims in the article, "The typical needle threader of this type has the image of a woman in profile stamped into the plate handle." but that is not true. All the ones I have seen, here in the UK, have an image of a man, a warrior, wearing an ancient Greek style helmet. I always assumed it was the face of Theseus, from Greek Mythology fame. Ariadne gave him a ball of thread, allowing him to retrace his path out of the maze. But after looking through google images I discovered that not all needle threaders have that same image. Some are of a women and I am assuming that is meant to represent Ariadne herself, occasionally it is just of the Minotaur's horns, and other vaguely relevant images are used instead, generally according to what type of needles the threader is meant to thread. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.145.72.7 (talk) 03:30, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
