Orphaned references in Need You Now (song)
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Need You Now (song)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 23:12, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
"Eye in the Sky"
[edit]Should there be a reference to the controversy that the chorus is basically a note for note rewrite of "Eye in the Sky" by the Alan Parsons Project? Given the high sales and publicity and lack of songwriting credit, this feels important enough to merit a mention. 65.116.74.69 (talk) 00:47, 15 February 2011 (UTC) Nashville Author
- Well, the song's resemblance to "Eye in the Sky"'s melody can be mentioned. – Novice7 (talk) 06:34, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Platinum certification
[edit]In April 2011, the song was certified 5× platinum but it is still listed as 4× platinum on the page. Is it okay if I change it? Thanks. --DorkyA.N. (talk) 18:57, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- Go for it. EnDaLeCoMpLeX (contributions) • (let's chat) 19:03, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
Is it "country" for cultural reasons?
[edit]It doesn't sound country at all. It's a common power rock ballad. Is it because the origins of the artists are country?--46.176.122.252 (talk) 18:43, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
Cover versions and media usage
[edit]I could be mis-hearing or mis-remembering, but I believe some of this song appeared in video game, "The Sims 3" or one of its expansions on one of the music channels (sung in Sim-lish, of course). 72.183.214.11 (talk) 18:15, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
