Defended page from speedy del.
[edit]This article was nominated for speedy deletion under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. However, A7 clearly states that "This criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people, organizations, and individual animals themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software and so on."
On those grounds, I suggest that the article stay, since it exactly is about a person's software. - Bobber0001 (talk) 20:55, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- Correct, A7 does not apply to software, although people sometimes still try to use A7 for software and occasionally that isn't caught. I would still like to see more references for this article, otherwise it will eventually be merged into a larger group of articles that cover many different IRC clients. --Tothwolf (talk) 07:38, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
