Move to NMOC
[edit]I think this page should just simply be called the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command as styalized on http://www.navy.mil/local/cnmoc/, http://www.public.navy.mil/fltfor/cnmoc/Pages/AboutUs.aspx, and http://www.public.navy.mil/fltfor/cnmoc/Pages/BioPage.aspx. COMNAVMETOCCOM (aka CNMOC) is the HQ command of NAVMETOCCOM (aka NMOC), which consists of CNMOC + the subordinate commands listed in the article. I agree with you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.15.37.42 (talk) 03:05, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

LEADERSHIP CORRECTIONS
[edit]I am the public affairs officer for this command. While we do not have any official affiliation with this Wikipedia page, most of the information on it appears to come from our information out in the public domain, including our web site which is linked at the bottom of the Wikipedia entry. I would like to point out two corrections for the leadership column to the right. CAPT Dean A. Sadanaga is now the Chief of Staff. AGCM Kenneth L. Walker is the current Command Master Chief. Not "Oceanographer of the Navy"
[edit]The command was under the Oceanographer of the Navy as reflected in text. It was not that office. The Oceanographer's office was downgraded in the last decades but this is not the successor command. The redirect from Oceanographer of the Navy, seal and indications it was or is "Oceanographer of the Navy" is in error. Palmeira (talk) 22:25, 12 April 2021 (UTC)
