Title
[edit]I have restored the title of the film to "Naughty But Nice" from "Naughty but Nice", since the former is the title as listed by TCM, IMDB and AMG, as well as The New York Times, AFI Film Catalog, Guide to the Silent Years of American Cinema, The Complete Index to Literary Sources in Film, and The Film Daily Year Book of Motion Pictures.
The title of the film, as given to it by the filmmakers, overrides Wikipedia's Manual of Style, which is an editing guideline and therefore not mandatory. Please do not revert to the previous title unless there is a consensus to do so among editors discussing the question on this page. BMK (talk) 04:20, 27 July 2014 (UTC)

Naughty But Nice (1927 film) → Naughty but Nice (1927 film) – MOS:TITLECAPS FMSky (talk) 16:52, 20 October 2021 (UTC)

- @FMSky and Lennart97:queried move request Anthony Appleyard (talk) 20:23, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- @FMSky: Apparently not uncontroversial, see Talk:Naughty But Nice (1927 film). Lennart97 (talk) 17:19, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. Concurrent with the above July 2014 posting under Talk:Naughty But Nice (1927 film)#Title, there was a similar posting at Talk:Naughty but Nice (1939 film)#Title, followed by Talk:Naughty but Nice (1939 film)#Requested move which resulted in a consensus to move Naughty But Nice (1939 film) → Naughty but Nice (1939 film). Over seven years later, this 1927 film title should be made analogous to the 1939 one, per other entries at the Naughty but Nice (not Naughty But Nice) disambiguation page. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 21:23, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Beyond My Ken: Courtesy ping, as you expressed opposition to the move now discussed here in the previous section of this talk page. Lennart97 (talk) 15:39, 27 October 2021 (UTC)

- Abstain policy says we apply our own title-case rules to these types of titles, but we shouldn't. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 00:49, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose - The actual title of the film, as decided by the film's creators should always take precedence over house style. It is arrogant in the extreme to do otherwise. Beyond My Ken (talk) 18:14, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
