Article requires updating
[edit]Significant issues to update on page. We can not edit as we are a spin out company from what was Narec, and do not wish to break the rules of Wikipedia WP:SCOIC. Changes are that Narec was merged into ORE Catapult in 2014, there are new facilities (Blade Test II, Fujin and Nautilus), Narec Solar became Solar Capture Technologies and this is not consistent throughout the article, the CEO has changed, there are more European projects to add. Also, ORE Catapult now only works on offshore and grid based technologies. All onshore renewable activities (solar thermal, heat pumps etc) moved over to the commercial spin out companies Narec Distributed Energy and Solar Capture Technologies. For more info check www.narecde.co.uk, www.solarcapturetechnologies.com, ore.catapult.org.uk and also news sources. Thank you for reading. NDEltd (talk) 11:42, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
- Actually there is no rule saying you can't edit a page - only that you shouldn't. However, usernames with 'ltd' in them are forbidden, as it comes across that you are editing on behalf of a firm, not an individual. Go to WP:CUN and ask them to change it - "XYZ at NDEltd" should be fine but do check. When you've done that, I will help you.--Launchballer 12:45, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you, I will change my name. However it looks like ORE Catapult have now updated/removed most of the article themselves, so I will leave this article alone as we are too close to the organisation. Thanks.NDEltd (talk) 10:36, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
