Date of Death

[edit]

The article only had Nancy's date of birth, but Nancy died in part 3. I suggest we make her date of death on the date of actual release of Dream Warriors...which is February 27th, 1987. If anyone has a better idea, let me know. Thanks. NYKenny 19:58, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think that would invalidate the chronology of the series (as skewed as it is). The original came out in '84, and the third in '87 - in the original she is around 15, and by the third she is somewhere in her early twenties (having finished grad school if I recall). --Ozgod 04:13, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A picture of the character would help the article. --Surv1v4l1st (Talk|Contribs) 23:21, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nancy Holbrook

[edit]

I think "Nancy Holbrook" should have it's own Article. --MR.HJH (talk) 23:45, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No. It shouldn't even have its own infobox on this page. It's worth about three lines under Appearances/Films about the modifications made to the character and her story, and the reception of the new actress.~ZytheTalk to me! 17:14, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It shouldn't even have three lines, its a different character with a different name that shares some similarities with a different character. And by some, I mean they kinda do SOME of teh same things in the film but have absolutely nothing in common.Darkwarriorblake (talk) 18:54, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In real world terms it's the same character, adapted. Wikipedia covers the real world side of things. (Guidelines on writing about fiction.) Don't get too sucked into the fiction itself. What matters is: Why did they change the actor's name? What did the change in the storyline change about Nancy? How did the actress research for the role? How did reviewers compare this to the Laurie recast in Halloween etc.~ZytheTalk to me! 23:13, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Add a short description to the top of the article.
  • Add the "use mdy dates" template to fix references.
  • Use "plainlist" instead of "<br>".
  • Add alt text to every image.
  • "both refers" → "both refer"
  • "discovers" → "discover"
  • Add a serial comma after the first use of Jacob Johnson.
  • "between the A Nightmare" → "between A Nightmare"
  • Reduce the number of quotes in #Reception (see WP:RECEPTION).
  • All citations should follow the "last, first" name style.
  • Check for WP:QWQ, WP:CURLY, and WP:ALLCAPS.
  • Ping when done. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 00:38, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
