Stadium name

[edit]

Like in the NHL Centennial Classic, we have Scotiabank sponsoring an event being held in a stadium whose naming rights belong to a competitor (in this case TD or Toronto-Dominion Bank). So I would not be surprised if the league starts referring to the stadium as just Lansdowne Park due to this sponsorship rights conflict. If that is going to be the case, this article should match what is on NHL Centennial Classic. See also Talk:NHL Centennial Classic#Exactly what is the problem?, as there was a editing conflict there regarding this issue. Zzyzx11 (talk) 11:27, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The press release conspicuously fails to use the name "TD Place" and only uses Lansdowne Park, so this is already happening. isaacl (talk) 00:16, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
