Is this going to be a series of games, or just one game for this season?

[edit]

I have merged 2017 NHL Centennial Classic to NHL Centennial Classic. Unless there is evidence that there is going to be a series of these games, and not one just for the league's 100th season, there is no point in having two articles. Zzyzx11 (talk) 02:53, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly what is the problem?

[edit]

So you're only fussing about the order in which a certain paragraph is worded, and over the mentioning of "Exhibition Stadium" (which has been established as the official name of the site in the context of this event due to ambush advertising rules). Exactly what is wrong? ViperSnake151  Talk  02:38, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The stadium is being referred to as "Exhibition Stadium" by the NHL due to the sponsorship of Scotiabank. It is in no way an official venue name change. Your wording made it appear that it was an official name of the venue. Your refused to take it to the talk page. It should be mentioned but your edits were poor. 64.231.151.232 (talk) 03:47, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. And other articles for situations like this have acknowledged venue name changes with explanation. Plus, I smell block evasion going on. Also, why are you saying my changes are not referenced? They are. ViperSnake151  Talk  05:03, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
For comparison, see the articles on the Olympics, like Ice hockey at the 2010 Winter Olympics. During that year, the International Olympic Committee used the name "Canada Hockey Place" instead of Rogers Arena due to Olympics regulations regarding corporate sponsorship of event sites.
